Meet The Owners of You Time Solutions.
Paula McGarrell
Paula began her first business at the age of 5. She sold her own artwork, along with others', to the families living in her neighborhood. Then she started a housekeeping business at 8, followed by a golf ball re-selling business with her brother at 11. As you can see, the entrepreneurial spirit has been present in Paula from the start.
After graduating with a B.A. in Psychology from Salem College, she entered into sales. Dissatisfied with the job and with the inability to make a real difference to her customers, Paula began You Time Solutions in 2007.
"I grew up watching my mom and my grandma take care of people. They made a real difference to people who didn't have time or who simply just needed help," remembers Paula. "So, it's only natural that I should do what I do. I get to genuinely help people everyday in unexpected ways. I wouldn't want to be doing anything else."
Leigh Anne Hunt
Leigh Anne grew up in a household that loved business. Both her mom and dad owned their own businesses and passed this trait onto Leigh Anne. As a child, she and her sister ran a successful video rental operation in their nieghborhood long before redbox ever came around.
Motivated to truly impact people's lives, Leigh Anne completed a B.A. in Ministry Arts from Taylor University and later became a CNA. After living in New Zealand for a short period of time, Leigh Anne returned to various positions in retail management, banking, and administration. Still, Leigh Anne could not still her entrepreneurial nature.
"I met Paula (who was already doing what I wanted to be doing) and fell in love with You Time Solutions. We became good friends and I offered her any advice I had concerning the business," says Leigh Anne. "Of course when the opportunity arose to become her business partner I was thrilled. I love what I do and that's hard to find these days."
Why We Do What We Do:
We believe personal time or 'you time' is absolutely essential to a healthy lifestyle. We also know not having time is the number one killer of relationships- be it with a spouse, children, friends, customers, or even yourself. But, we also dare to believe that with a little help people can make time for everything that is important. The lives of our clients may never slow down, but we will always be there to take care of their everyday chores.
Where We're Headed:
You Time Solutions is already the #1 lifestyle logistics company in the Triad. So where are we headed next? We will continue to grow YTS steadily, reaching further into the Triad. Beyond that, we've got sights set on briniging some you time to Raleigh and Charlotte.
